If this pandemic has but one small silver lining, it has surely taught me how we can all help each other. Tapping into one another's networks and platforms should not only be supported, but actively encouraged. You never know what you may have that another can provide and vice versa-and in times like these that can be life changing!

With this in mind, I am more than happy to share the new yet quite intellectually stimulating newsletter from repeat debater on Citizen Jane Blog, Daniel Mollenkamp. He has kindly agreed to allow me to repost his weekly work, entitled The Stringer here.

------

For a brief introduction from Daniel on The Stringer:

Stringer is journalist jargon for freelancer. The newsletter deals in policy, culture, philosophy, and the intersection of all these things.

And for some background on Daniel:

I’m a Journalist/Researcher. Board member for Abukloi Foundation. I have experience on the ground in Africa, Europe, and in the U.S. I have written for international audiences, focusing on complicated legislative issues, for years. But I have experience in traditional newsrooms as well, and in digital editorial settings; the audiences for the publications I have written for cover the spectrum: international, national, regional, and provincial. I have also moonlighted as a researcher compiling global regulation trackers utilized by regulators in Europe and the US for various industries, including the vaping/cannabis sector and gene editing technologies. I have a BA in “Government” from the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
